partnership support
PMDevelopments has provided support and chaired meetings for several partnerships including Swansea Environmental Forum (SEF), Sustainable Swansea Steering Group, Swansea Built Heritage Group, Swansea Environmental Education Forum, Swansea Waste Forum, Centres for Change Network, Swansea Fair Trade Forum, Swansea Community Growing Network and the Low Carbon Swansea Bay Network.
In 2005, I was commissioned by SEF to produce Swansea's first Environment Strategy - Time to Change - which was launched in September 2006 and adopted by the local authority and other partner bodies. This was accompanied by a shared action plan and a strategy summary document. Subsequently, I undertook biennial strategy reviews and action plan updates, publishing comprehensive review reports and accessible progress review summaries.
PMDevelopments has a Service Level Agreement with SEF which has involved overseeing progress with the Swansea Environment Strategy and representing SEF and the environmental sector at strategic meetings, such as those linked to the Swansea Public Services Board and the Swansea Wellbeing Plan. Part of this role has been to help carryout wellbeing assessments and co-lead the Working with Nature Task Group with responsibility for the environmental objective of the Swansea Wellbeing Plan.
